如何高效解决植物组培污染问题

植物组织培养广泛应用于转基因研究、作物育种、观赏花卉进出口、中药材生产等领域,但组培过程中的种苗污染问题,尤其是真菌和内生菌的污染一直是广大科研工作者所关心和头疼的问题。西美杰代理的美国Plant Cell Technology(简称PCT)专门为植物组织培养而研发的产品——PPMTM,可有效抑制由于空气、灭菌不*、交叉污染、外植体消毒等各种原因导致的细菌、真菌和农杆菌污染。PPMTM是一种热稳定的抗菌剂,在合理的使用剂量下,不会对植物生长产生任何影响。并能广泛适用于绝大多数被子植物和裸子植物。
PPMTM相对于传统抗生素具有以下优势:
- PPMTM广泛抑制和清除细菌和真菌的污染,并防止真菌孢子的萌发。
- PPMTM是通过抑制多种酶的活性而达到抑菌效果,从而能避免耐药突变体的发生。
- PPMTM具有热稳定性,无需过滤灭菌,能直接加入培养基高温灭菌而不会影响使用效果。
- PPMTM用量低,性价比高。
PCT自1995年开始着力于PPMTM的研究,迄今为止累积50多篇已发表文献,除此之外更有来自*植物研究者使用心得反馈。下表汇总了部分客户的使用反馈,帮助广大科研人员更深入了解PPMTM ,以便有效解决植物污染问题。
