2013/9/12 17:26:55Rabbit Anti-ADAR
Catalog Number :RS-2167R
Quantity size : 0.1ml (dilute with pH 7.4 0.01 M PBS or antibody diluent )
Background: ADAR converts adenosine to inosine in dsRNA, which destabilizes the dsRNA helix. This activity is important for various functions like site-specific RNA editing of transcripts of the glutamate receptors and modifying viral RNA genomes (which may be responsible for hypermutation of certain negative-stranded viruses, e.g., measles virus). ADAR also binds to short interfering RNAs (siRNA) without editing them and suppresses siRNA-mediated RNA interference. This protein is ubiquitously expressed, with the highest levels being found in brain and lung.
Specificity : Anti-ADAR is a rabbit polyclonal antibody
specific for ADAR of Human, Horse, Mouse, Rat
Application :
Storage: Store at -20℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20℃. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 ℃
