磁旋转编码器主要由磁阻传感器、充磁磁鼓、信号处理电路和机械结构部分组成。它采用磁阻变化原理检测微弱磁场信号的变化。磁鼓刻录成等间距的小磁极,磁极被磁化后,磁鼓在旋转时能在周围空间分布周期性变化的磁场。在一定的间距上,这个磁场的Y方向分量在每个磁极的正上方位置,磁旋转编码器的值为零;在相邻磁极的正中位置,它的值为zui大。
磁鼓旋转时磁阻元件由于具有磁阻效应,磁旋转编码器的阻值会随着磁场的改变而改变,在外加电势的作用下,变化的电阻值导致电阻上的电压变化,桥式电路的输出端的电压也就随之发生变化。因此,桥式电路的输出信号和磁鼓的旋转是紧密相联的。磁鼓每旋转一个磁化长度,磁场变化半周,信号输出则变化一个周期,磁鼓上磁极对的数量和输出信号的周期数在旋转一周时是相等的。所以通过测定输出信号的周期数或周期时间就可知道磁鼓的位置和旋转速度了。可查看磁性编码器的更多介绍。
